DE_dust3 - Its coming.

No. Just kidding. Lol.

I got alot of emails and requests saying "MAKE MORE!!!" and do more maps, etc.. its nice and all, but like I said before, DE_dust2 is the FINAL episode in the series. Why?

1. I spent my ENTIRE summer working on it, and believe you me, I almost died during production. I gave up over 10 times trying to motivate myself to keep animating, it wasn't easy. One of my major motivations was actually here on Newgrounds, I told myself "People will love it and hard work will pay off!". And what do you know, it did! So thanks to all the NG'ers for the support and love.

2. I don't have the time! Uni work is really piling in now that I'm in my 2nd year at uni.

3. It will be pretty damn hard to make a new one to top dust2 with mixed responses from people. Some people loved the character development and comedy in dust2 while some demanded faster paced action scenes. Some even demanded for more characters to be added in, which is just retarded imo... lol.

4. I'm moving on! I've proved to myself that I can animate sticks efficiently and consistently with all the animation principles at hand. I'm moving on to do 3D animations now :). You can view some of my 3D work at my site if you're interested.

Newgrounds has always been awesome to me, and I love it. DE_dust2 also grabbed the monthly award thanks to Tom's generosity. I can't wait to put that BADASS award certificate on my wall along with the dust2 poster :D.

Why not go on and create something new instead of beating this dead horse, milking this empty cow?

You're talented, man. Flex. Try something else. Counterstrike stick parodies are all you've done since... 2003. That's five years, dude. It's time to stretch your imagination.

I really want to see you put your efforts to something new and original.

Yeah, afterall CS is like 100 years old and I havn't actually played it very much in the last few years O_o.

If I do come back to Flash one day, I'll be sure to start fresh and original :).

Oh absolutely, man. You're definitely headed in the right direction.

But hey, don't be afraid to revisit stick animations. I don't know if you've ever checked it out, but you should watch the "Castle" series (particularly the four installments of the third episode).
I know a lot of people hate sticks, but I was always a big fan of the genre. If done right, it can be awesome.
I'd love to see not only a return to sticks, but a revolution of quality in them.

So if you want to stick with sticks, by all means, go ahead. I want to see you try something fresh and original. I'm sure you can brew up some great ideas.

You can do both (keep venturing forward with stick animations while also branching out into other fields). Perhaps incorporate the two (as the "Castle" series creator has done)?

Well, there are alot of times where I was in complete despair. I hated the slow animation progress, watched dust2 like 10000 times till its sickening.... and the project was so demanding that I never thought I'd be able to finish it. :(

yet i may ad, i think if you evert tried making a next episode, you could add new characters, or at least make the identities of the alraedy knwon characters more..clear. i mean, assasin, and the other blue guy look almost identitcal. not wanting to make you angry, im just pointing things out. so, if you ever make stickmen, its cool to make them easy to recognise. the eyes on psyco, and his mp 4, is a good idea. you could add the strange eyes to assasin too, since he had them oin de dust one. and his sniper. taht would indicate its taht guy. also the mod was pretty unique, as the hacker. and the gd guy (dude with green eyez).

anyways. good to move on. yet, i think you should do some stick movies too ;)
NOT de dust, or cs, but other theme related. dunno, somethign different with sticks. something, like stickmen in the future, trying to save a friend, bypassing robotic killers, and electrified tower shields. maybe some epic sword fighting sequence?

Nice joke but anyway yeah you should really move on with your life liked all your animations and stuff so this is pretty much a good stopping point for you.
